Timeflyz is one of my favorite books, partially because I have always loved time travel, but also because of the personal “journey” Laurel takes as she travels through time, learning about the consequences of our actions and the value we have in God’s eyes.

PYRAMID PERIL (book 1) – The first adventure, Laurel and her new companions travel to ancient Egypt, where they try to save Imhotep from Darchon’s grasp. But Laurel also learns that Darchon wasn’t just after scientists from the past. He’s taken someone she loves dearly . . . 150 pages, black and white.

TURTLE TROUBLE (book 2) – My favorite so far, because I finally get to tell the story of David Bushnell and his Turtle submarine — the first submarine ever used in combat! (It failed spectacularly!) Laurel and her friends also have to protect two Benajmins from the Revolutionary War era: Franklin and Bannaker. 150 pages, black and white.

BERLIN BREAKOUT (book 3) – Taking place in pre-World War II Berlin, this story has Laurel and the flies protecting Lise Meitner, one of the world’s most brilliant scientists. She was also a Jew — meaning Berlin was not a safe place for her during that time. Her escape was a story I found to be unique and interesting, which is why I chose to write a TimeFlyz story featuring her. 150 pages, black and white.

TUNNEL TWIST-UP (book 4) – This book not only features Gregor Mendel, the brilliant monk who became the father of modern genetics, but it also marks the debut of a new TimeFly: Zed, who comes from the Flyz’s future! However, they’ve also lost one of their own, and they can’t leave this time period until they get him back! 150 pages, black and white.

POWER PLAY (book 5) – Laurel and the team meet a new villain, lose their powers, and find help from Charles Dickens and Michael Farraday! Electricity is not common yet, but Laurel and the flies need to make a “power play”! How does Big Ben fit into their plans? 150 pages, black and white.

TIME TRAP (book 6) – Galileo! Galileo! Laurel and the flies meet Galileo . . . and get him trapped in a time eddy. This book sets the scene for the final battle! 150 pages, black and white.

FINAL FACE OFF (book 7) – The first part of the last battle between Laurel and the mysterious Kairos, who has been behind the scenes every step of Laurel’s adventures with the flies!
